Big Bird's October Message

October 1, 2017
To the GFWC Fabulous Florida Flamingo Flock:

It has been so long since I have written to the flock.  So much has happened during these past months. Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria sure left their mark on Texas and Florida and the islands.  Everyone has been in my thoughts and prayers during these hurricanes and especially with those of you dealing with the aftermath.

Thank you to those Flamingos that sent cancelled stamps to the Holocaust Museum in Massachusetts.  They have reached their goal of 11 million stamps!  They really appreciated our efforts in reaching their goal and it is no longer necessary to send stamps.

Do you believe we're already in fall?!   And with that, just a reminder that dues are coming due!  The due date is NOVEMBER 1, 2017.  They are $25.00 a year. You may also use PayPal on our website.

Please send them to our Treasurer…

Thank you all for continuing to be the Fabulous Flamingos that you are and for “Living the Volunteer Spirit!”   And, as Suzy Toronto says… “Life is all about how you handle Plan B.”
Hugs from the Top Bird,
